The impressive imagination of Eryn Martin has allowed her to forge an experimental approach to music that is entirely her own. Moody, deep electronic beats kick off the track, with firm finger snaps and the occasional interjection from a gritty industrial sound giving a Billie Eilish-esque vibe, but halfway through ‘Middle Class’, we’re suddenly taken on a brief-yet-funky journey through some addictive vocal melodies. Lyrically, she explains that “It doesn’t matter how much money you have, it’s about how much fun you’re having. Shitty bars, and sketchy house parties will forever be my favourite memories.
